Néstor Ahumada Galaz
Geographer, Licentiate in Geography and Master in Human Settlements and Environment Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
PhD in Environmental Management, Landscape and Geography from the University of Barcelona, whose thesis obtained the mention CUM LAUDE, institution that awarded him the Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA).
As a teacher, he has worked in various institutions, such as the University of Santiago, U. de Las Américas, Universidad. Tecnológica Metropolitana (Chile), and the Academia De Guerra del Ejército de Chile as a Postgraduate Professor.
He has more than 23 years of experience in Environmental management matters in the Municipality of Santiago de Chile, performing technical internships in the Municipality of Vitoria Gasteiz, Basque Country, Spain in the years 2012 and 2018.
PROFESSORS
Sociologist from the University of Chile, with specialization in Human Resources Management and Public Policy.
He served as Head of the Department of People Development at the Undersecretary of Transportation, Executive Secretary of the National System of Municipal Training and Head of Organizational Development at the Ministry of Health of Chile.
Organizational Consultant, specialist in leadership and organizational welfare. Teaching in Organizational Behavior, Organizational Sociology, People Management.
He holds a Master's degree in Human Organizational Psychology, Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, Chile and a Master's degree in Management and Public Policy from the University of Chile.
Sociologist graduated from Universidad del Valle, with a degree in Public Policy from FLACSO-CLACSO (Costa Rica). Studies in Territorial and Urban Development (current master student at Univ. Nacional de Quilmes -Arg) and; proficiency in Human Settlements and Environment (Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile), in Territorial and Environmental Impacts of Globalization (International University of Andalucía-Spain) and Public Management (ESAP, Col.). With twenty-eight years of professional experience in the field as a sociologist, socio-community worker-facilitator, planner, coordinator of field work teams, advisor, consultant and executor of public policies, programs and projects in the educational, socio-humanistic, environmental, territorial development, conflict-coexistence, socio-economic and organizational development, and public management areas for national and foreign organizations.
University professor for 25 years, developing and implementing teaching and learning strategies, mainly in the areas of:
methodology for research, human development, project management, environmental and territorial, development planning and management, public policy, spatial analysis, land management and general and applied sociology. Fourteen years as director and coordinator of academic and university research units.
Social researcher, evaluator of academic works, tutor of research groups, with publications on environmental, territorial and socio-community issues. Person respectful of others, proactive and assertive, oriented towards change, social and organizational innovation, and in the living conditions of people through the empowerment of human and social capital.
Professor of Philosophy from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso. Master in Education with mention in Quality from the Universidad Miguel de Cervantes. Doctor of Philosophy with a major in Moral and Political Philosophy from the University of Chile. Currently I professor at the University of Santiago de Chile (Usach) and at the Alberto Hurtado University.
